Do you remember the wonderful smell of freshly baked waffles? The popular dessert from the south of the Netherlands and Belgium can easily be made yourself with the classic waffle iron from The Windmill.

Suitable for any heat source, such as induction, BBQ, gas, open fire, etc.

Preheat the greased iron. Fill one side with batter and then close the waffle iron. Turn it occasionally and bake the waffles over medium heat for a few minutes until golden brown on both sides. You can also use the waffle iron to make, for example, potato pancakes. Try our caramel apple waffles!

Leuk ijzer om op een herfstachtige dag met de familie wafels te bakken. Ik had een kant en klare mix uit de supermarkt, werkte top. Erg luchtige wafels. Het ijzer wordt loeiheet, dus zorg voor goede handschoenen. Je moet ook niet in een half uur klaar willen zijn, lekker de tijd voor nemen, wat familie uitnodigen en allerlei lekkere toppings klaar zetten. Super leuk!

Dit is echt een leuke pan om mee te experimenteren, natuurlijk de lekkere zoete wafels die keer op keer geweldig lukken. Ook de hartige varianten doen het goed en zelf al een keer oosterse "gehakt wafels" gemaakt. Top kwaliteit!
