Product description

The Dutch Oven is a Dutch invention – a multifunctional cast iron pot. Its name comes from the fact that it can easily be used as an oven by heating the pot from both the top and the bottom. This can be done with wood, charcoal, or briquettes. The pot is made entirely of cast iron, which means it can be used on any heat source. Cast iron conducts heat well and retains it for a long time. Place the pot directly in the fire, on a fire table, in your fire pit, or on the barbecue. If the weather doesn’t allow cooking outside, you can even use it indoors on your gas stove or in the oven.
The Dutch Oven can be used for baking and roasting, for making rendang, baking cakes, brownies, casseroles, etc. With oil inside, you can even fry traditional Dutch “oliebollen” or donuts.
