As avid BBQ enthusiasts with a passion for fire, we've seen a steady increase in demand for open-fire cooking recently. We understand this; with all the technological advancements of the 21st century, we all sometimes crave an outlet, a return to authenticity. This has inspired us to give new meaning to a traditionally Dutch product: the Dutch Oven!

The classic cooking utensil for an open fire is the Dutch oven: a large cast-iron pot on three legs, which you can place over charcoal. The oven has been in use since the seventeenth century but has proven itself as a timeless and indispensable tool for outdoor cooking. It's said that the oven got its name from Dutch merchants selling it door-to-door. Dutch colonists staying in America used the oven regularly. The oven quickly gained popularity among Americans, as the Dutch oven offered the opportunity to cook delicious food in primitive conditions.

Our mission is to bring the Dutch oven back to its roots! With a quintessentially Dutch name and unique products of authentic Dutch quality, we've brought the Dutch oven back home.
