Will's aardappelbrood

Ingredients

  • 500 grams of flour
  • 7 grams of salt
  • 10 grams of sugar
  • 20 grams of fat Oil or butter
  • 200 grams of peeled potatoes
  • 4 dl water
  • 1 sachet of yeast

Instructions

  • Boil the potato with the water until done
  • make a thin puree
  • Make sure there is 4 dl left and let it cool down to about 25 degrees
  • Mix the ingredients together
  • add the fat and mashed potatoes
  • Knead into a smooth and even dough
  • let this rise for 2 hours
  • Knock out the air and divide the dough into 50 gram balls
  • Place these on a tray lined with greaseproof paper
  • Cover it with a cloth and let it rise for another 45 minutes
  • Place a skillet on the coals, roll the balls flat like a pizza and bake them on both sides until golden brown.
