Rice with sweet and sour sauce

Ingredients (for 2 persons):
- 150g brown rice
- 200g (vegetarian) spiced chicken
- 300g oriental wok vegetables
- 25ml sweet & sour wok sauce
Supplies:
- The Windmill Camp Stove
- The Windmill Skillet L
- The Windmill Premium Charcoal
- The Windmill Making Wokkels
- Remove the rings from the Camp Stove and take out the charcoal grate.
- Place a kindling wand under the cast iron coal drawer in your Windmill camp stove.
- Fill the coal drawer with a layer charcoal or briquettes (preferably coconut briquettes for a longer burning time) according to the instructions in the manual.
- Light the wokkels with a long match or lighter, leaving the air supply fully open for maximum draft.
- Wait about 10–15 minutes until the coals are glowing well and have formed a white-gray ash layer.
- Give the mixture some time to come up to temperature. Once the briquettes have turned gray, they're ready to use.
- Place the cooking rings and a cast iron pan (or the grill rack or plancha) back on the Camp Stove. Let the cast iron come to room temperature before you start cooking.
Preheating the skillet:
Once the coals are nice and hot, place the skillet on the grill. Let it Preheat for 3-5 minutes so that the cast iron comes up to temperature. This gives you that perfect sear on your chicken and doesn't
s paste. Don't forget to add a little oil once the pan is hot.
Pro tip: Use spicy oil!
Here's how to make it:
- Cook the rice according to the instructions on the package.
- Heat up Windmill skillet on the camp stove and cook the chicken until done.
- Add the oriental wok vegetables and stir-fry for a few minutes.
- Stir in the sweet and sour wok sauce and remove from the heat. Done!
