  • 1 pineapple
  • 2 Spanish peppers
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 2 limes
  • 1 spring onion
  • 800 grams of shrimp
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

Supplies:

Preparation time: 45 minutes

Preparation method:

  1. Preheat your Kamado over direct heat to 250 degrees Celsius. Place the cast iron skillet on the rack to get it hot.

  2. Cut the pineapple in half and remove the core with a spoon. Hollow out the pineapple and cut the flesh into pieces.

  3. Finely chop the garlic, chili peppers, and spring onions. Score the prawns' heads slightly so they curl up nicely while cooking.

  4. Add a drizzle of olive oil to a hot skillet and sauté the shrimp. Then add the chopped garlic, chili peppers, and scallions. Finally, add the pineapple chunks. Season with salt and pepper.

  5. Place the hollowed-out pineapple halves on the kamado grill rack to create beautiful grill marks.
