Fresh cherry sauce!

Ingredients

  • 1 kg fresh cherries, pitted
  • Water
  • Sugar
  • Cornstarch
  • Lemon juice

Supplies

  • Saucepan
  • Silicone spatula

Preparation method

  • Place the cherries in a pan with a little water and sugar. Stir well and bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
  • Once the cherries release their juices, add the cornstarch and lemon juice. The sauce will thicken almost immediately to a glossy syrup. Keep stirring, and if the sauce doesn't thicken, add a little more cornstarch until it reaches the desired consistency.
