Ingredients
- 250 g self-raising flour
- 4 tbsp semi-skimmed milk
- 1 egg
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 100 g butter, soft
- 100 g Parmesan cheese, coarsely grated

Preparation method
- Beat the butter and salt with a mixer until thick, white, and fluffy. Beat in the egg and milk. Sift the flour into a bowl and then gradually fold it into the butter mixture.
- Knead the dough with the grated cheese and form into six balls.
- Grease the waffle iron with a little oil or Crisco and preheat it. Place a ball of dough in the center of the waffle iron and close the lid. Bake the waffle for about 3-4 minutes, turning it over halfway through. Remove any stuck-on bits and grease the iron with oil before baking the next one.
