Dealers speak: Grandpa Wil on behalf of Vuur & Rook

Dealers aan het woord: Opa Wil namens Vuur & Rook

"The Windmill Camp Stove is an unparalleled all-rounder that can be used as a barbecue, stove, and fire pit," begins 'WindWil's' review of the stove. "And you can burn charcoal, briquettes, or wood in it, so there's plenty of choice in that regard as well. The adjustable damper allows you to perfectly control the oxygen supply and heat and maintain your stove at the perfect temperature."

If you want to cook with a Dutch oven, the stove is suitable for any size pan. It has several cooking rings, and by removing or adding rings, you can fit various sizes of DOs and skillets.

The center cooking ring has three small recesses where the legs of a Windmill Dutch Oven fit perfectly. This makes the pan nice and stable. Which gives me a very safe feeling when my grandchildren are running around the garden. Because if they accidentally bump into the Dutch oven table, the pan and its hot contents won't fall off.

But as I mentioned, this camp stove is a true all-rounder. You can grill, BBQ, cook, or even use it as a wok burner. The cast iron grate turns the stove into a true satay grilling champion, and the cast iron plancha lets you prepare the most delicious tapas. These two accessories are available separately.

The Camp Stove is called a "camp stove" because it's easy to take with you to the campsite. Or anywhere else, of course. Because this Windmill product is made of aluminum, it's lightweight, making it easy to take along when camping, boating, or barbecuing on the beach.

Also handy to know: because it's enclosed, this stove is allowed at many campsites. And once you've cooked on the Camp Stove, you can remove all the rings with BBQ tongs and light a fire to relax on those lazy summer evenings with a nice glass of whiskey and a cigar.
At least, that's what I would do if I smoked, haha!

You'll find that once you have a stove, you'll light it more and more often. I also use it for the cast-iron poffertjes pan from The Windmill or the waffle iron. Baking delicious fresh waffles over the stove and making the whole neighborhood jealous with that delicious aroma. But because the stove is quick to light, I just as easily use it to make delicious eggs and bacon in a skillet in the morning. It's even more delicious on an outdoor fire than on the stove!
