Enamelled casseroles are delivered with a lid, including a stainless-steel lid knob. The knob is also resistant to high temperatures. The pans are entirely made of cast iron and have all the advantages of a cast-iron pan combined with the easy maintenance of enamelled pans. The pans can be used to fry, roast and braise a wide variety of dishes in the oven. The enamel coating protects the pan from corrosion and requires no treatment or seasoning. Wash the pan by hand after use and put it away.
The inside of the pan has a satin finish. This layer is an additional protection and improves the cooking process. Temperature is key! Heat up the pan and cook your favourite dish. Food tends to stick to the pan more often at higher cooking temperatures. Food containing eggs may stick to the pan more easily, especially if the pan has not been used very often.
The pans can be used both indoors and out. The outside of the pan may change colour or stain when used on an open fire or barbecue. This has no effect on the taste of your dish. Only use the pans indoors if you prefer to keep them spotless.
